British fashion and homeware Retailer Matalan has become the latest brand to extend its association with Agon Systems after initial trials saw outstanding results regarding the reduction in shrinkage.
Sports retailer JD Sports has authorised the installation of The Concept Tag to over 200 stores after seeing a reduction of tagged garment theft of up to 75% in stores in the UK, France and the Netherlands.
Agon Systems is extremely honoured to be in attendance tonight at an exclusive dinner hosted by Coutts & Co. – one of the world’s oldest financial institutions and famed for being the Queen’s bank – to discuss UK export ambitions in a post-Brexit world.
The company was one of six shortlisted for the accolade, based on success in overseas markets for a British business under 50 staff members.
All the team at Agon Systems would like to take the opportunity to congratulate JD Sports’ Tim Edwards on winning the Retail Risk Director of the Year award at the 2017 Fraud Awards.
They will now be taking the Concept Tag – the ‘World’s Most Secure Tag’ that is proven to reduce retail theft by up to 66 per cent – to market Down Under.
The device is now in over 20 countries, with the 15 millionth tag predicted to be shipped this year.
The reduction comes after the high-profile fashion retailer installed the Concept Tags at the Marble Arch Park House store on Oxford Street.
In a bid to reduce retail losses through shoplifting, the WRU introduced the Concept Tag to a selection of their in-store sportswear lines.
